  •   Eat sensibly prior to party/occasion
  •   Limit quantity of high calorie/energy snacks
  •   Choose lower calorie options where possible
  •   Limit alcohol, alternate with water
  •   Limit soft drink and juice.

  • (saturated fat increases cholesterol)
  •   Limit cheese, fatty meat, avoid skin on chicken
  •   Careful of hidden fats eg creamy dressing, mayonnaise, biscuits/cake, crisps/chips

  • Speak with your doctor, dietitian, or dialysis nurse if you are not sure how to spread your binders
